Llewellyn Humphreys has been established in Carmarthen since 1935 as Chartered Surveyors, Land Agents and Valuers.  The Company offers a complete service in relation to rural property advising owners including farmers, estate owners and managers and to those who have land or houses in the Country.  It also carries out a wide range of valuation work from residential properties to industrial units.

The Practice has two partners:

 

J M G Andrews DL, BSc, FRICS

Mr Andrews has been the Senior Partner of this company since 1970.  In addition to a large amount of Rural Practice and Estate Work he is also an agent for Agricultural Mortgage Corporation and is Regional Director of the Country Land and Business Association.  This work covers the whole of South and West Wales and involves considerable dealings with members of the association on property and land use matters.  Amongst a number of private clients he is agent for the University of Wales and has considerable local knowledge of South and West Wales.

J P G Andrews MRICS MRAC

Having qualified in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Mr Andrews became an associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1989 working for Balfour & Cooke in their Shrewsbury office before moving to take up a 3 year fixed term contract with the Land Use Planning Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food based in Oxford and Smiths Square in London.  He joined the partnership of Llewellyn Humphreys on the 1st May 1998 and is the fourth generation of his family to work in the business.  Throughout his professional career he has dealt with all aspects of Rural Estate Management, Professional Work and Property Valuations and is also an agent for Agricultural Mortgage Corporation.
